
Nick Caropino
Nick Caropino PT, DPT, SPARC Director
Nick is currently a Physical Therapist at Athens Orthopedic Clinic and is stepping into the additional role of SPARC Director. Originally from New Orleans, LA, Nick completed his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science from S. Louisiana State University. His experience in strength and conditioning includes coaching of youth, collegiate and professional athletes, Director of Sports Performance and Wellness, as well as working with organizations such as Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning and Nike. Nick then returned to school where he attained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of St. Augustine with an emphasis in orthopedics and manual therapy. Nick has a passion for sports medicine and optimizing fitness and human performance. He truly believes that anyone can reach a set goal with the proper care, dedication, and a positive attitude.

Adam Schreiber
Adam Schreiber M.S., Strength & Conditioning Coach
Adam attended Georgia College and State University where he completed an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and a Master of Science degree in Health and Human Performance. During that time he coached several sports teams as well as gained experience in physical therapy and wellness. Adam enjoys working with all populations to improve quality of life and performance.

Josh Bricker
Josh Bricker M.S., CSCS, FMS-1, Sports Performance Coordinator
Josh is our current Program Coordinator and is being promoted to the Sports Performance Coordinator. Originally from Columbus, GA, Josh completed his undergraduate studies at LaGrange College in Exercise Science where he played baseball all four years. He then finished his Master’s in Kinesiology at The University of Georgia. He has experience at the professional, collegiate and youth sports levels. He is also a Nashville Recording artist and a singer-songwriter who performs shows all over the southeast.

Chris Seponski
Christopher Seponski M.S., CSCS, SCCC, USAW, Fitness and Wellness Coordinator and Strength Coach
Chris is one of our current coaches who was recently promoted into the Fitness Coordinator for General Populations. Originally from the Philadelphia, PA area, Chris completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame in theology and philosophy and Master’s in Fitness and Human Performance at the University of Houston – Clear Lake. He has experience at both the collegiate level at the Universities of Arkansas and Georgia, as well exercise research experience with the Wyle, Inc. exercise team at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston Texas. He and his wife, Desiree have lived in the Athens area, off and on, for 14 years and are expecting their first child in mid-April.

Jan joined the SPARC team in February 2018 and is excited to be in such a great environment for health & wellness. She is passionate about her clients well being and a strong supporter of living a healthy lifestyle. Jan believes in an Integrative approach to massage therapy, so if warranted, may recommend an assessment by one of SPARC’s amazing Physical Therapists or Strength & Conditioning Coaches!

Cody Reed
Cody Reed B.S., CSCS, USAW - Level 1, SPARC Manager, Strength & Conditioning Coach
Being a previous SPARC Intern, Cody is excited to return as coach in 2018! He graduated from the University of Georgia in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Mathematics Education. Cody specializes in individual training, helping clients restore functional movement and increase athletic performance. He looks forward to continuing to expanding his knowledge in strength and conditioning while broadening his experience to best help each person achieve their goals and pursue new ones. Cody was born and raised a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan and attended their infamous World Series win! Aside from the Cubs, he also loves cheese dip… a lot, so please keep him accountable.

Kelsey McAnnally
Kelsey McAnnally, Strength and Conditioning Coach
Kelsey is one of the new members of our coaching team. She began her time at SPARC as an intern coach but has progressed nicely into taking over many of our fitness classes, women’s classes, and small group training sessions. Kelsey was born and raised in Kennesaw, GA playing softball, basketball, track, gymnastics, and lacrosse. She graduated from Berry College in May 2017 with a B.S. in Exercise Science where she played lacrosse for Berry College for four years and received All-American honors. Before coming to SPARC, Kelsey was a strength and conditioning coach at CrossFit Bound in Kennesaw, GA and CrossFit Liberate in Athens GA. Kelsey moved to Athens in August of 2017 where she is pursuing a Master’s in Strength, Conditioning and Fitness at The University of Georgia. She hopes to continue her career at SPARC as well as in the private school sector working with middle and high school students.
